The Renee & Chaim Gross Foundation is pleased to announce The Carver’s Order, an exhibition with artist Gedi Sibony. The temporary exhibition will run October 1–November 21, 2026.

 

The Carver’s Order marks a new direction in programming at the Gross Foundation. Artist Gedi Sibony has created an intervention in the Foundation’s historic spaces, integrating his work while also making adjustments to the historic installation, creating an immersive reinvention of one of New York City’s hidden gems.

 

According to the artist, “The home and studio express an integrated approach to life and art-making with an organization of space and dynamism that reflects an era. The Carver’s Order is a joyful interaction with, and celebration of, these objects and their home cast through my applied fictional interpretation.”

 

The exhibition opening will be held Thursday, October 1 from 6-8 pm at 526 LaGuardia Place. The exhibition can be visited on House & Studio Tours or during open hours.

Thursday, 5-8 pm; Friday, 3-6 pm; Saturday, 1-5 pm*

 

* Hours for Saturday, October 17 are 12–4 pm for Open House New York.
